Moscow State University awarded honorary titles to the scientisits of SINP MSU.
According to the decree N 1303 "On awards of honorary titles "Honored Professor of Moscow University", "Honorary lecturer of Moscow University", "Honorary scientist of Moscow University", "Honorary figure of Moscow University"" d.d. December 21, 2012 Scientific council of Moscow State University awarded honorary titles to six SINP scientists.
The following scientists were awarded with the title "Honorary scientist of Moscow University":
Igor Alexeev, the Head of the Laboratory of magnetospheres of the planets, the Department of Radiation and Computational Methods;
Vyacheslav Ilyin, the Head of the Laboratory of Analytic Calculations in High-Energy Physics, the Department of High-Energy Theoretical Physics;
Vasily Prosin, leading researcher of the Department of Super-High Energy Particles;
Valery Tolstoy, leading researcher of the Department of Atomic Nuclei Physics.
The title "Honorary figure of Moscow University" was awarded to the following SINP employees:
Viktor Kalita, leading electronic engineer of the Department of Atomic Nuclei Physics;
Leonid Smirnov, high-qualified regulator of radiodevices and equipment of the Space Physics Research Department.
Diploma and award pins will be delivered on the eve of MSU birthday - Tatiana Day.
